What is Algebra Intervention?

HOME

WELCOME!!

Welcome back parents and students!!! my name is Steven Matthew Villa and I will be your algebra intervention teacher for this school year. I'm very excited to be back and start another exciting school year. I am from Uvalde and graduated in 2013. From there I went off to college and graduated from UTSA with a bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary studies having my focuses in history, special education, and mathematics. This is my second year here at UHS and I'm very ecstatic to begin a new school year.

I hope this site is helpful to both students and parents throughout this school year. I plan on keeping it updated with assignments, videos, and resources that can help you during this school year. I hope this eases some stress and tension on you alls end.

What am I doing here?

Algebra intervention is a math course where I am here to help guide you to pass the STAAR test. We focus on the biggest tested areas in algebra 1 so that we understand it come testing day. My goal is to have each and every single one of my students pass the test so they no longer have to have the stress of the test weighing over their heads. I understand math doesn't always come easy and click like we'd like it too and that is just fine. My job is to fill those gaps so you can be successful on that test.
